Obituary from the Kalgoorlie Miner Tuesday 17 November 1925, page 3

Mr. James Bizzaca who was accidentally killed by a fall of ground in the Ivanhoe mine on Tuesday, the 3rd Nov 1925, was one of three brothers, who are well known and highly respected on these fields. Born in Dalmatia forty-nine years ago he arrived in Western Australia in 1904, where he followed the occupation of a miner. He visited his native land, where his wife, six children, and aged mother now reside, returning here a little more than a year and a half ago. A requiem mass was celebrated by Kev. Father Langmead at All Hallows Church on Wednesday the 4th Nov 1925 at 7 a.m. The cortege, which moved from the residence of his brother, Mr. John Bizzaca, Launceston street, Boulder, to the Boulder Cemetery, was one of the largest seen in the district.
