Welcome to this sub-section of the History of Croatians in Western Australia which focuses on immigrants from Prvić Šepurine and their descendants now living in Australia and New Zealand.
Like most migrants to WA, the arrivals from Šepurine and its neighbouring mainland village of Srima, almost all filtered through the port of Fremantle. The vast majority settled in Western Australia with a handful working or settling in other parts of the country or in New Zealand.
Here you will find information about our shared history and relatives with shared ancestry. The genealogy section is a work in progress, so please use the contact form for additions, corrections, suggestions or questions.
I hope these pages encourage descendants from other Croatian towns and villages to reconnect with their heritage and together demonstrate the important contributions Croatians have made to the broader communities in which we live.
This site would not be possible without the generous support offered by Dr Norm Marinovich and the Board of the Villa Dalmacia Association (Inc).
