Mr. James Bizzaca who was accidentally killed by a fall of ground in the Ivanhoe mine on Tuesday, the 3rd inst. was one of three brothers, who are well known and highly respected on these fields. Born in Dalmatia forty-nine years ago he arrived in Western Australia in 1904, where he followed the occupation of a miner. He visited his native land, where his wife, six children, and aged mother now reside, returning here a little more than a year and a half ago. A requiem mass was celebrated by Kev. Father Langmead at All Hallows Church on Wednesday the 4th inst., at 7 a.m. The cortege, which moved from the residence of his brother, Mr. John Bizzaca, Launceston street, Boulder, to the Boulder Cemetery, was one of the largest seen in the district. The last rites were performed by the Rev. Dr. O’Hurley, P.P. The chief mourners were: Mr. John Bizzaca (brother), Mr. Tony Bizzaca (brother), Mr. Joseph Bizzaca (cousin), Mrs. John Bizzaca (sister-in-law). Mrs. Tony Bizzaca (sister-in-law), nieces and nephews. The pall-bearer’s were Messrs. T. Matulich, J. Zuvich, M. Santich, J. Martinovich, L. Poklepovich, Ivan Zuvich. Wreaths were received from the following: — Brother Jack and family; Brother Tony and family; Mr. E. George Leatham ; Mr. Jack Zuvich and, mates; Mr. and Mrs. T. Matulich and family, Mr. and Mrs. Fred. Nicholls and family, Mr. and Mrs John Roki and family, Mr. W. Steele and Miss Ruby Matulich, Mr and Mrs. James Sheahan, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Truscott, Mrs. Perich and family, Mr. and Mrs- Chris Jakcich and family, Miss D. Rodoreda, Miss McNamara. A letter was received from Archbishop Clune (Perth). Telegrams were re-ceived from: Pellets store, Mr. and Mrs. J. Morris and family, Mr. and Mrs. W. G.
